Vocations

Office for Formation and Vocations is the office to help the youth and young adults to discern their vocation for a radical commitment to Christ and His Church. The office aims to accompany the young men and women of our diocese to pray, to reflect and to discern the invitation of our Lord into different status of life possible in the Catholic Church.

This office was created in the year 2012 as the diocese was blessed with some young men into priestly formation.

This office is primarily committed:

  • To educate the parish/mission communities on vocation to priesthood, religious life, single life and marriage through various programs and events.
  • To challenge the youth young adults of our diocese to pray and to reflect on their vocation.
  • To accompany those young men and women who perceive in their heart a voice of the Lord through spiritual direction, awareness building, and personal guidance.
  • To ensure the formation of those young men and women in holiness and virtues considering the nature of the pastoral needs and challenges of our SyroMalabar diocese.
